Demand Analyst & Planner

Demand Analyst & Planner

Join our Nordic Demand Planning team and drive better business decisions!

Are you motivated by owning the numbers behind key business decisions and ensuring plans are built on solid assumptions? Do you thrive in a role where attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through are as important as analytical skills?

As our new Demand Analyst & Planner, you will play a key role in driving forecast accuracy, aligning stakeholders around the facts, and ensuring business decisions are based on realistic and actionable demand plans.

Working at Nestlé

Nestlé is the world's largest food and beverage company, with a purpose of unlocking the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come. At Nestlé Nordics, we believe our people make the difference. We foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where you can grow, learn, and contribute from day one.

About the Role

As our new Demand Analyst & Planner, you will join the Nordic Demand Planning team and own the demand plan for selected categories within the Danish market. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning, you will translate commercial plans and market insights into accurate forecasts that support both business growth and operational excellence. In addition, you will drive analytical and continuous improvement initiatives across the Nordic Demand Planning organization, coordinating projects and ensuring insights are translated into action.

The team consists of 8 Demand Planners across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The position is based at our Nordic Headquarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, and reports to the Nordic Demand & Supply Planning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the demand plan and forecast performance for assigned categories.
  • Translate commercial activities, market insights, and customer behavior into realistic demand forecasts.
  • Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure plans remain aligned with business realities.
  • Partner with Sales and Supply Planning to create robust and actionable plans.
  • Lead demand reviews and support decision-making throughout the monthly planning process.
  • Drive analytical and continuous improvement initiatives across the Nordic Demand Planning organization.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Have experience within Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain, or a similar analytical role, ideally within FMCG.
  • Combine strong analytical skills with sound business judgment and are comfortable making recommendations based on data and facts.
  • Take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments, and take accountability for outcomes.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and naturally challenge assumptions, inconsistencies, and unexpected results.
  • Build credibility through the quality of your work and your ability to confidently explain and defend your numbers.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a structured approach.
  • Are fluent in English and preferably also a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian).

Make an Impact at Nestlé Nordics

Joining Nestlé means becoming part of a collaborative Nordic Demand Planning team where ownership, accountability, and high-quality decision-making are at the core of what we do.

Your forecasts and recommendations will directly influence business performance, service levels, and supply chain efficiency across the Nordic region.
