Nordic Business Controller & Strategic Co-pilot
Join Nestlé Nordics – We are looking for the Power of YOU!
Are you ready to take on a key role in business controlling and strategic decision-making? We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to join our Confectionery Leadership Team and act as a strategic partner to our Business Executive Officer (BEO) and our Nordic business leads. If you are ready for your next career move, come join Team Confectionery at Nestlé!
Working at Nestlé: Nestlé is the world’s largest food and beverage company, focused on nutrition, health, and wellness. At Nestlé Nordic, people genuinely matter – we value your skills, your perspectives, and your personal experiences.
Your Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for financial governance and performance analysis for our Confectionery business across the Nordic markets. You will work with wellknown brands such as KitKat, Lion, After Eight, and Smarties. Your financial insights – especially within cost of goods sold (COGS) and marketing investments (PFME) – will guide key decisions and shape the future of our Nordic confectionery business. You will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, including our Nordic Finance & Control team, local commercial teams across the Nordics, senior management, the Zone Europe Confectionery Finance Community (regional finance network), and the Nordic Finance Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Controlling: Deliver monthly financial updates and investigate deviations from forecasts and budgets (PFME, standard costing, and MOGE — our internal framework for operating expenses).
- Business strategy: Support the business with financial scenario planning, including evaluating investments, innovations, and pricing strategies.
- Business performance: Drive Month-End Closing and key midyear/yearend processes, ensuring accuracy and strong analytical insights.
- Forecasting: Play a central role in the monthly planning process, owning the scenarioplanning step to guide business performance and support both short and longterm budget work.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly sales reports, monitor financial KPIs, and manage the Monthly Management Letter to our European Confectionery organization. Lead and prepare the BiMonthly Business Review with our European Category Team.
You will be the key financial partner for our Nordic Confectionery business and strong Co-pilot to your BEO. This position can be based either at our Nordic headquarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, or in our Helsingborg office. The role reports to the Nordic Business Executive Officer for Confectionery.
The Courage to be YOU: At Nestlé Nordics, we encourage you to bring your full self to work. Your unique experiences and perspectives are not just welcomed – they help drive our success.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who communicates clearly, navigates complexity with ease, and can influence stakeholders at all levels. You ideally have:
- A master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar controlling or finance role
- Fluency in English (a Nordic language is a plus)
- Experience building dashboards or overviews in Power BI
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with SAP and/or Business Warehouse
- A structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- A collaborative attitude and a drive to deliver high quality results
Recruitment Process & Contact: We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please apply as soon as possible – and no later than 8 March 2026.
Applications must be submitted through our Careers site. If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Giacomo Delzotti (Nordic Business Executive Officer for Confectionery & Country Manager for Nestlé Sweden) via LinkedIn.
Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible
Note: At Nestlé Nordic, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and inclusion, encouraging individuals from all backgrounds to apply. We believe in unlocking the Power of You by fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all candidates. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process due to a visible or invisible disability, please do not hesitate to inform us.
