Your Job:
As our new Strategic Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the success of our Coffee business. Based at Nestlé’s Nordic headquarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, you will collaborate across teams, providing financial governance and insightful analysis of brand P&L statements, with the overall objective of optimizing financial processes and delivering high-quality results.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Business Strategy: Collaborate with our Coffee business in financial scenario planning, assessing investment options, evaluating innovation pipelines, and shaping pricing strategies.
  • Reporting: Oversee daily and monthly sales reports for your business unit. Monitor selected financial key performance indicators (KPIs) and offer strategic recommendations.
  • Controlling: Exercise control and provide monthly updates to the business. Investigate any deviations from the forecast.
  • Forecasting: Act as a key player in the monthly business planning process, steering it towards target achievements. Contribute to both short and long-term budget processes. 

 

We always strive for process improvements and the evolution of methodologies. Therefore, you will need a strong grasp of accounting principles, practices, and applications. Your analyses, calculations, and statistics will form the basis for decisions and development within our business unit.

We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of business drivers and the ability to turn insights into action. In addition to this, you…

 

  • Bring minimum 5 years of experience from a similar position.
  • Hold a relevant educational background.
  • Communicate effectively in English. A Nordic language on top of this is a plus!
  • Bring an analytical and commercial mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain a keen focus on the broader business landscape.
  • Proactively collaborate within our Nordic network and European Category Teams.
  • Are proficient working in Microsoft Office – especially Excel is your key strength.
  • Experience within retail or the FMCG industry is considered a plus – so is familiarity with SAP R/3 and Business Warehouse.
