Costing Analyst
Costing Analyst
We are currently looking for a Costing Analyst to join our Finance & Control team who will provide right cost information (COGS,FDC,VDC) timely to relevant stakeholders to fulfill business requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Point of contact with Costing Center of Competence for Period-end closing activities, healthchecks and ad-hoc product costing.
- Ensures compliance with Costing Standards.
- Prepares monthly regular reports required for analysis and decision making. Takes part in digitalisation projects.
- Coordinates DF process with shared functions and BUs to provide timely and correct cost data. Highlights the significant variances between Actual Costs and Dynamic Forecasts.
- Analyzes cost of goods sold and distribution cost trends.
- Plays a key role in year-end costing activities. Coordinates relevant parties (businesses, factory, data management, etc) for action plans and deadlines.
- Takes part in costing relevant Global new projects.
Qualifications
- University degree from Business Administration, Economics or Engineering.
- Min. 3 years experience in F&C department.
- Very strong analytical skills with the ability to pay attention to details while overseeing the big picture in the complex business setting (multi product categories, sales channels and high number of SKUs).
- Strong capabilities in using business tools, Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP and Data Science knowledge will be an asset.
- Patience and perseverance to meet the deadlines. Ownership and accountability for delivering expected results.
- Good communication skills both within the function and with other stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset, proactive and open-minded towards new&different ways of doing things.
- Fluency in English.
