Crawley (Hybrid in the office 2/3 times a week)
Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 additional flex days on top of 25 day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + many other excellent benefits!
Position Summary
This is an opportunity to contribute to a well-established heritage brand, with strong awareness, that is stabilising after a period of decline and is now showing positive momentum. We have a winning formula, a unique and compelling consumer proposition and a great team. But we need you, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager and together we need to deliver a continuously innovative approach to communications, we have an ever-young audience, and we need to ensure our communications plan (media and creative) keeps up with their changing needs. Alongside strong communications experience, you will gain experience in I&R, ICP (Integrated Commercial Plans) and pricing analysis. As part of a smaller division, you will work closely with a cross-functional team including CDT, finance, regulatory and medical to collaboratively grow this brand (top and bottom line). A day in the life of a Brand Manager
As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for delivering brand performance across several measures. Brand marketing and Media planning will be a core element of your role as well as Digital Marketing.
You will:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop a clear brand strategy and three-year brand plans, ensuring all brand activities adhere to brand purpose & strategy.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of UK&I Infant formula category including media, shopper, competition and consumer behaviour to identify marketing issues and opportunities.
- Closely monitor industry and competitor activity, to ensure plans are maintained and adapted in a constantly changing, competitive environment.
- Manage the I&R plan deployment through I2L (idea to launch),
- Maintain relationships with key media and creative partners. This will involve briefing and managing through the process of developing creator and creator like content. Keeping a critical eye on our always on media plans, recommending and executing continuous optimization.
- Have and build a digital-first mindset which is reflected in projects and plans.
- Ensure PFME is planned, managed, and evaluated effectively and efficiently.
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt, ideally within a Brand Manager role previously or you are an Assistant Brand Manager looking for a step up. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Proactivity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role as is proven leadership capability and creative thinking. You’ll also:
• Have the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders
• Be capable of P&L management and financial analysis to improve portfolio profitability
• Be able to run sizeable projects and work streams from concept to delivery
• Experience in coordinating and participating in cross functional team
