Position Summary

Are you a visionary marketing leader with a passion for driving consumer preference and increasing market share? Nestle Health Science (NHSc) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the role of Head of Marketing for the Consumer Care side of their business. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the NHSc Vitamins, Minerals and Health Supplements (VMHS) and Consumer Care (CC) portfolio, while leading and developing a high-performing marketing team. These brands include but are not limited to Solgar, Vital Proteins, Garden of Life, Nuun, Pure Encapsulations and Minami.

 

As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of engaging brand experiences for consumers, acting as the guardian of the core marketing principles and implementing them across the UK portfolio. You will inspire the team to become champions of the consumer experience through engaging and differentiating activations. Your ability to foster a continuous improvement culture and share best practices will be instrumental in driving brand value and volume share.

A day in the life of a Head of Marketing

As the Head of Marketing, Consumer Care, you will also be accountable for the overall portfolio management and performance of our brands. Your strategic mindset and ability to balance short-term commercial requirements with longer-term brand strategy will be key in developing and managing a strong portfolio of brands. You will have the opportunity to influence key stakeholders and develop business cases that align with the brand's vision. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • You will champion decision-making processes anchored in consumer insights, ensuring that commercial decisions are aligned with the long-term brand defined strategy.

 

  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the NIM Marketing function. You will sit on the Marketing NiM MLT, influencing and contributing to the definition of Marketing NiM priorities for marketing capability.

 

  • You will have the opportunity to build team capability within digital with support from NIM Marketing and Digital teams, defining NHSc's digital marketing ambition and translating it into a digital and e-commerce roadmap.

 

  • You will implement career, talent management, and succession planning to ensure the growth and development of your team. Your ability to create opportunities for team members and encourage cross-functional and cross-category roles will contribute to improved organisational capability.

To be successful in this role, you will be a practiced leader and influencer with a collaborative approach. You will have displayed great leadership of diverse teams. You will be well versed in building and executing commercial strategy. You will also have:  

  • ‘Technical’ depth in a combination of Marketing and either CDT or Sales 
  • A track record of building strong brands through engaging consumer experiences 
  • A good understanding of key business operations e.g., Finance, Supply chain etc
