We have a fantastic opportunity for an Inbound Supply Co-ordinator working with our Tutbury Coffee factory colleagues. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the availability of materials to fulfil the requirements of the supply stream production plans. By utilising defined cost and stock policy boundaries. Driving continuous improvements in MRP processes within our end to end supply stream. By building on the strong relationships with Suppliers, Planners and our factory colleagues to ensure a best-in-class operation.

 

The Tutbury operation employs roughly 600 colleagues, this location is a supply chain hub and houses roughly 30 Supply chain professionals. The offices are situated on the manufacturing site, recently renovated with meeting rooms and recreational areas. The team you will work in reports to Inbound Supply Lead and there are 2 other coordinators, the wider team spans roughly 10 colleagues.

 

Your impact

 

Reporting into the ISC Lead, you will be responsible for the ordering of stock from suppliers into both the factory and third party warehouse.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

• Active member of the Tutbury Supply Planning team.

• Create an optimised replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18month horizon to ensure supply of material to production whilst meeting working capital targets and stock cover policies.

• Manage exceptions with suppliers. Follow up delivery shortfalls and quality issue with suppliers agreeing plans to minimise impact on customer service levels or working capital.

• Monitor supplier performance ensuring plans are developed with the supplier, procurement business support and the supply stream to close gaps as necessary.

• Work with suppliers and procurement business support and the supply stream to identify and exploit improvement opportunities to drive TDC, service improvements or working capital reductions.

• Manage supplier relationship locally within the supply stream.

• Involve suppliers in in supply stream improvement exercises which will create shared value for Nestle and their suppliers.

• Driving connectivity between planning processes, procurement and factory assets and teams.

 

 

Your ingredients for success

 

To be successful in this role you will ideally come from a Supply Chain background.

• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and responsiveness to a high standard.

• Proven Track record for delivering best practice and driving a customer service mindset both individually and within the team.

• Have a logical and collaborative approach with an eye for detail and not be afraid to challenge constructively.
