Location: Gatwick (Hybrid 2-3 times a week in the office)
Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience + car allowance + a Nespresso coffee machine + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary
We have a great opportunity for a talented Learning and Development Manager to design, implement, and oversee our learning and development programs at Nespresso. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, enhancing employee growth, and ensuring that our people are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. You will be a part of our exciting Nespresso People team where you will report into the Head of HR and will have one direct report.

A day in the life of a Learning & Development Manager
The key focus for this role is to develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Nespresso's goals and objectives. Your key responsibilities will also include:
- Identify training needs and conduct thorough assessments to determine skill gaps and areas for improvement.
- Design and deliver engaging and effective training programs, both in-person and online, to enhance employee performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to develop and update training materials, resources, and curriculum.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development and incorporate them into our programs.
- Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet the needs of Nespresso.
- Build and maintain relationships with external training providers, vendors, and industry experts to leverage their expertise and resources.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on career development opportunities and individual learning plans.
What will make you successful
To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic experience in learning and development within a commercial arena (preferably within the retail or hospitality industry). You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for Nespresso, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. You’ll also have:
- Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Proficient in instructional design, curriculum development, and e-learning platforms.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
- Professional certifications in learning and development or coaching are a big plus.
