Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to work on the Medical Nutrition and Consumer Care portfolios for Nestlé Health Science, ensuring that our products meet the national nutritional guidelines, applicable Regulations, Food Safety Requirements, and internal policies. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials, labelling and liaising with brand teams to manage product communication.  You will work closely with the marketing and medical affairs team approving Health Care Practitioner (HCP), carer, customer and parent facing materials.  You will also be expected to represent the company at external meetings with stakeholders such as trade associations and relevant external bodies.

A day in the life of a Regulatory Affairs Manager

You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our products to the market and supporting the marketing teams on exciting product launches while ensuring all our products are compliant against UK &I Regulations. 
 
You’ll also: 
•    Keep abreast of local and international Regulatory changes and provide updates to key stakeholders across the business. 
•    Propose, Implement & Validate action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
•    Provide a high standard of Food Supplement and Food for Medical Purposes (FSMP) regulatory expertise to relevant departments in Nestlé Health Science in support of business objectives. 
•    Contribute as a key team member in Innovation and Renovation projects. Be assigned as regulatory collaborator and/or leader in New Product Development. 
•    Proactively help support with medical, marketing and sales materials and labels, drawing on relevant regulatory expertise and experience.  
 

What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role you will have extensive food regulatory and nutrition experience.  You will have a thorough understanding of UK and EU regulatory legislations You will be self-sufficient and results focused with great analytical skills. You’ll have an excellent eye for detail and understand how your decisions impact the wider business strategy. You will be a team player and have great communication skills that enable you to challenge and influence across all levels whilst being able to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. 

 

Being proactive and challenging in order to arrive at a resolution is a must, as is having a real desire to get to the heart of issues that may arise, coupled with your ability to be flexible when prioritising work in an environment that will often be ambiguous and sometimes pressured.
