Position Summary

 

As the Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for auditing and reporting effectiveness of maintenance part identification, parts inventory, parts consignment, parts turns, inventory, parts area security and cycle counting.  You will be responsible in leading the parts clerks in the organization and operation of the Central Stores and Pole Shed areas.  You will work with outside vendors in parts procurement and fill in as Maintenance Manager / Supervisor when needed.

 

  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling and inventory of all maintenance parts & equipment in coordination with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler function.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for planning, status reporting and tracking of all work requests requiring parts.  Monitor the scheduling for maintenance availability of equipment requiring parts & or service.
  • Maintain cost account procedures for charging maintenance parts to appropriate departments. 
  • Responsible for follow-up of parts out for service
  • Responsible for coordinating the planning and budgeting of the annual plant shutdown maintenance projects with the assistance of the Maintenance staff.
  • Covers Maintenance department in absence of shift supervisor.
  • Responsible for analyzing total parts usage against critical parts inventory listing in an effort to reduce total parts inventory.
  • Perform and promote plant to perform all job duties in a safe manner, abiding by all safety rules and policies. 

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military, or related environment.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $54,000 - $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
