Maintenance Tech (PDM Technician)

Position Summary

As the PDM Technician l, you will use PDM tools and technology to identify equipment ( Motor, pump, gearbox, compressor, fans and bearings, Etc.) before failure. You will be trained and able to repair findings and assist Maintenance Mechanics/Electricians in projects using predictive maintenance technology.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be able to navigate PDM software (vibration, Oil, Infrared, Ultrasound, PDMA).
  • Be able to navigate and collect data on PDM testers (Vibration, Infrared, Ultrasound, alignment, PDMA, Oil analysis).
  • Perform installation and repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Be willing to continue education and training as necessary to keep up with the changes in PDM technology and pet food technology.
  • Be able to pass a written examination or demonstrate proficiency regarding the qualifications.
  • Follow GMP guidelines, maintain a clean, and safe work environment. Including tool carts and any work performed on your shift.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Hourly pay starting at $24/hour

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience (Years/Type):
1+ years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, automotive or military environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree
Experience in predictive technologies (infrared, ultrasonic, vibration, oil analysis, etc.) is Preferred.
