As a Senior Materials Coordinator, you will analyze raw material data required to manufacture pet food products and convert that data into orders. You will also be communicating orders to vendors and managing inventory levels within the factory. In addition to managing inventory tasks, you’ll also work across departments with production and quality assurance to solve possible ingredient handling issues. Primary Responsibilities 

 

 

  • Working within Microsoft Excel and SAP to review and forecast ingredient demand weekly. 
  • Creating material orders based on production requirements and communicating orders to vendors. 
  • Reviewing production schedules and working with department supervisors to determine material requirements. 
  • Managing the flow of materials in the factory to ensure production levels are met. 
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy at factory and outside storage, researching any discrepancies, and working with accounting to adjust as necessary. 
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures as needed to ensure efficiency. 
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements/BQ’s 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent 
  • 1+ years' experience performing administrative or secretarial duties in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or military environment
