POSITION SUMMARY

Our factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. We also do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Situated just 25 miles from the factory, the city of Lincoln offers convenience to many of our associates who prefer the amenities of larger city living. They embrace the short commute from Lincoln to the quainter city of Crete, where our factory thrives.

As a Product Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator, you will provide multi-disciplinary technical assistance in the QA department. You will evaluate, approve, and maintain process records for process control and thermal processing.

• Review and report daily process records for accuracy, completeness and compliance of regulatory requirements
• Manage QA records
• Investigate consumer complaints and help drive improvement
• Assist QA Manager in quality reporting and data analysis
• Thoroughly understand trace/recall procedures and assist team in routine exercise
• Operate and evaluate data from the Automated Net Weight Data Collection System
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1+ years' experience working in a quality, food manufacturing, production, manufacturing, military, or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $38,000-$55,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
