As the Sr Coordinator Materials Planning, you will be responsible for the ordering of ROH materials to support the production plan. You will maintain appropriate ROH material inventories and effectively manage ROH material changes. You will monitor daily production and inbound materials loads, and communicate with effected employees/suppliers/carriers of any necessary changes or updates.
- Utilize SAP transactions daily to execute various buying responsibilities
- Work with receiving operators, data coordinators, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of inbound materials
- Minimize material write-offs and work with appropriate parties to ensure FEFO is observed and materials are used up if possible prior to aging
- Participate on conference calls, conferences, and meetings to improve the overall effectiveness of how materials are ordered, shipped, received and maintained
- Troubleshoot and resolve parked & blocked invoices to ensure vendors are paid for materials delivered
- Work with corporate procurement to ensure accuracy of vendor contracts
- Communicate with appropriate parties to correct receipt errors
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1+ years' experience in procurement, materials planning, and clerical skills in a manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, military, or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $51,000 to $65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
