Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for Line/Process Operators to join our Manufacturing and Filling and Packing department. Reporting to the Line Performance Manager, you will ensure the process and production line runs efficiently in line with Quality, Safety and Production standards, helping to deliver customer satisfaction.
The position is within our Nestlé Dalston Factory, which is the home of Nescafe and produces a range of Cappuccino, Aero and Coffee mate products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing our recipes and expanding our leading brands.
A day in the life of...
The successful candidates will be trained to monitor and operate process/equipment, using the correct problem-solving tools identifying root cause and resolve faults.
You will also be responsible for carrying out line quality checks, escalating any out of specification results and participating in their solution.

To be considered for this pivotal role within the Dalston Factory, we are looking for candidates who are strong team players with a practical approach to your work and a great can-do attitude.
The successful candidates will be trained to monitor and operate process/equipment, using the correct problem-solving tools identifying root cause and resolve faults.
We are looking for self-motivated people, ideally with a food manufacturing, quality or mechanical background, with the ability to work as part of a team.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate an ability to effectively prioritise your workload within a fast-paced environment.
As an excellent communicator you must be a proactive and responsible individual with drive and enthusiasm, with the confidence to contribute ideas to improve the department and where possible rectify potential problems.
Mental agility and positive approach to learn new methodologies and techniques are key skills to fulfil this role.
Line Operators will also require flexibility to rotate around different shifts/processes in order to develop their own knowledge and expertise.
