POSITION SUMMARY

 

As the Associate Manager, Engineering, you will work directly with the Engineering Manager in the managing, coordination, and direction of the Engineering and Maintenance Management Staff at the Davenport Plant.  This group impacts the Engineering, Capital Program, maintenance cost and productivity, and coordination of energy and regulatory affairs and finished product distribution. 

 

  • Assist the Department Manager with people leadership of the Engineering Department.
  • Conduct training and development needs assessment of engineering department team members.
  • Support safety goals, co-managing safety projects as they relate to plant equipment modifications.
  • Interact with Production Teams for problem solving.
  • Assist in managing projects and budgets (planning, quoting, purchasing, implementing) and initiate improvement plans when needed (including Capital, maintenance/repair, production/cost efficiency industrial performance project work).
  • Must be willing to relocate to any of our US factories within the next 2-4 years.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 2+ years’ engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military or related environment
  • 1+ years’ leadership experience

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $94,000 to $136,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
