POSITION SUMMARY

 

Located in North America’s wind belt, Davenport is at the forefront of renewable energy technology and has remained home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late ‘90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle® brands.

As the Maintenance Planner, you will lead and improve the factory maintenance planning process to ensure that all planned maintenance activities are executed with high quality, on time and as a result increase asset intensity.

 

  • Execute the weekly maintenance planning routine including task prioritization, maintenance shutdown scheduling in collaboration with production and operations planning, work order execution results review, and parts planning.
  • Manage contractors as required. This also includes getting quotes, making work orders and requestions.
  • Create and optimize the maintenance plans in AMM to improve the quality and effectiveness of the maintenance planning system.
  • Establish and deploy AMM predefined reports to facilitate review of maintenance indicators.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Store creation of assets BOM and spare parts ABCZ classification.
  • Fill in as Back up to Team Leader as needed.

 

Other

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' maintenance planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military, or related environment 

 

Other

  • Associate's degree in technical discipline preferred
  • SAP experience preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $54,000 to $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
