Position Summary

 

Located in North America's wind belt, Davenport proudly stands at the forefront of renewable electricity technology. Our factory works to do our part to care for the environment, like investing in renewable electricity, conserving water and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Since 1927, it has been home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities. Originally focused on cereal production, the factory transitioned to become a pet food-only manufacturer in the late '90s. Today, it holds the distinction of being the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S. With utmost care, our dedicated team in Davenport produces, packages, and ships a wide range of our beloved brands including Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle®.

 

Join our team in Davenport, IA as a highly communicative Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinator. This pivotal role supports the day-to-day delivery appointments and product supply activities essential to our factory's operation. As a key member of our production planning team, you’ll ensure the smooth flow of materials and accurate execution of production schedules.

 

  • Provide support in planning processes for dry production, including entering information about available packaging supplies, substitutions, and incoming supplies.
  • Build and maintain bill of materials, master recipes, and production versions to ensure uninterrupted production. Accurately convert planned production orders into process orders and maintain various databases and spreadsheets.
  • Update and save production schedules. Run transactions for the production process and create process orders for repacks, reworks, rebundles, transformations, and stickering projects.
  • Support the Packaging Coordinator with daily tasks and process claims for defective packaging supplies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure data integrity and seamless communication across teams.


Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of administrative office experience

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $47,000 to $68,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
