Position Summary


The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing shift operations, supervising and directing production and maintenance employees in pet treats. As a Production Team Lead you will manage, lead and coordinate activities of your team to support safety, production and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be responsible for coaching, training and developing your team members while maintaining daily production demands.

 

  • Supervise the production floor, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Manage production schedules to maximize output.
  • Coordinate cross functionally with all team leaders and managers in meeting total plant goals.
  • Assist in leading and developing continuous improvement projects.
  • Support development and coaching of employees.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely the production activities to the other shift team leaders.
  • Must be available to work back shifts, overtime and weekends.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience AND 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
