POSITION SUMMARY

Located in North America’s wind belt, Davenport is at the forefront of renewable energy technology and has remained home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late ‘90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle® brands.   

As the Relief Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervision of assigned maintenance technicians, as well as fostering a safe work environment, ensuring all quality standards are met.   

• Coordinate work schedules, overtime and Permits to Work.
• Ensure proper coaching and safety of assigned maintenance technicians.
• Maintain cost effectiveness.
• Work with storeroom personnel.
• Maintain expected sanitation level.
• Reduce equipment downtime.
• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
• 1+ years of people leadership experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000 to $101,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
