Position Summary

Over 100 years in existence, we’ve grown our passionate Purina Family as we’ve grown the breadth of our business. As a Sr. Logistics Coordinator, you’ll join our factory in Davenport, Iowa which is home to our largest manufacturing facility since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late ‘90’s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Kitten Chow®, Friskies® and Kit N Kaboodle® brands. You will be responsible for providing clerical administrative support for the warehouse operations, and will manage the daily warehouse shipping schedule by directing the activities for loading and shipping products, maintaining warehouse records, and performing job assignments to ensure we meet our warehouse and customer satisfaction goals.
- Perform all clerical duties directly related to warehouse activity
- Check drivers in and out, while aiding loaders in locating product
- Prepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips and various other shipping office paperwork
- Coordinate movement of trailers
- Assist with the transfer of products between factory and outside storage
- Prioritize and manage workload with various tools
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years logistics and administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military or related environmen
