POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consultant Transportation Performance to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our network transportation performance and carrier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong connection to the E2E Transportation Execution team, maintaining robust carrier relationships, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, staying abreast of industry trends, and planning for future advancements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Network Transportation Performance: Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics to ensure optimal network efficiency and effectiveness.
- Carrier Performance and Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure high levels of performance and service. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Collaboration with E2E Transportation Execution Team: Work closely with the E2E Transportation Execution team to align transportation strategies and execution plans. Ensure seamless end-to-end transportation processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in transportation processes and carrier performance. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall performance.
- Industry Trends and Future Planning: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting transportation. Develop strategic plans to adapt to future changes and maintain a competitive edge.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives within the transportation function, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Insights and Reporting: Provide insights and detailed reports on transportation performance, carrier metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in transportation performance management and carrier relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and internal teams.
- Experience in change management and leading improvement initiatives within a transportation or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
SKILLS:
- Advanced degree or professional certification in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with E2E transportation execution processes and systems.
- Knowledge of lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

The approximate pay range for this position is $111,725 to $162,750 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
