Job Summary:
The Transportation Manager - Network Performance is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing multiple networks and business units. This individual will lead a team of consultants and specialists, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance across all networks. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of supply chain dynamics and an End-to-End (E2E) mindset, as well as industry-specific transportation knowledge and insights. They will be responsible for carrier relationships, route guide adherence, on-time delivery, and ensuring we meet the needs of our customers with effective transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage transportation operations across multiple networks and business units.
• Lead a team of consultants and specialists to ensure optimal performance and seamless operations.
• Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Ensure adherence to route guides and on-time delivery performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address transportation needs and challenges.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve network performance.
• Utilize industry-specific knowledge and insights to develop transportation strategies to support the business.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting transportation needs with effective solutions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation management, supply chain, or a related area.
• Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and an End-to-End (E2E) mindset.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of consultants and specialists.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with carriers and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The approximate pay range for this position is $111,725.00 to $162,750.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
