Position Summary
Nestlé Bulgaria is looking for a colleague for the position of Demand and Supply planner covering the CPW business in Bulgaria and Adriatics.
A day in the life of Demand and supply planner
- Timely provide consensus and accurate demand plan for 18 months
- Consistently achieve improvements in demand plan accuracy: DPA and BIAS.
- Analyze and convey relevant information to senior management; identify gaps; investigate the impact of proposed measures and find optimal solutions; take all possible measures to ensure that all demand plans and actions are realistic and achievable.
- Influence demand by providing regular input on product launches, portfolio optimization, commercial decision justification, promotions, and customer behavior.
- Weekly review of production capabilities to meet demand, oos projection and freshness issues and actions (OPDSR).
- Organize and prepare sales and demand forecast reviews on a monthly basis (OFR/CR).
- Ensure that all needs for imported products are covered, inform the producing markets about demand changes or gaps weekly.
- Confirm shipment plans proposed by producing markets to ensure optimal availability of imported products.
- Organize and participate in regular Key Intermarket Planning Cycle meetings.
- Critically evaluate plans and discuss them with producers in case of conflicts of interest: production efficiency, inventory management policy, shipment invariability period, minimum order sizes, and production batches, etc.
What will make you successful?
- Higher education;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
- Understanding of supply chain processes (customer service, physical logistics, production, procurement) and related drivers (e.g., lead time, inventory structure, distribution, key supply constraints);
- Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, result-oriented, service and business improvement-oriented;
- Advanced MS Office user;
- Ability to work with large volumes of information;
- Excellent communication skills;
- English level from Intermediate and above and Bulgarian native language.
