Position Summary

As an Accounting Coordinator, you will work closely with the manufacturing and finance teams within the organization to support the processing of payroll, master data setups, vendor setups and payments, and miscellaneous material accounting functions. In this role, you will identify, troubleshoot and resolve all payroll errors and serve as primary point-of-contact for employee questions and concerns regarding payroll.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Perform all pay period payroll functions and related analysis, including review and reconciliation of new hires, terminations, salary changes, promotions, time tracking, manual checks, deductions and bonus payouts
  • Reconcile general ledger journal entries each pay period as well as perform continuous analysis of payroll processing including variances from prior pay periods, accurate punches, audit of punches and ensuring appropriate approvals 
  • Understand, investigate and resolve all discrepancies with invoices and accounts payables
  • Address errors and verify accuracy of purchase orders from the purchasing department to ensure proper inventory levels and payments are processed
  • Perform period-end activities including accruals, purchase order tracking, reporting and other activities needed to close the books
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products and enterprise resource planning software to perform daily accounting functions

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

 

This position has a minimum salary of $48,000. Please note that the salary provided is a good faith estimate for the position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
