POSITION SUMMARY
As an Industrial Electrician, your role, in the bigger picture, is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. This position will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift). This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V).
- Service and repair of production related electrical equipment including knowledge of power distribution and lighting systems, AC/DC motors and transformers, machine and line control devices, fluid control and distribution, electronic controls and instrumentation, variable frequency drives, and basic PLC knowledge/ interpretation capabilities.
- Ability to demonstrate safe practices and tools for while working with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems and components.
- Operate & maintain shop tools and equipment, such as pipe threader and band saw.
- Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus such as multimeters and megohmmeters.
- Use proper equipment to test, repair, & verify various forms of digital & analog signals.
- All other duties as assigned.
- MUST BE OPEN TO ANY SHIFT.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years’ electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment.
OR
- 2 Year Technical Degree.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $38.02 - $48.92 per hour. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician D $38.02, Maintenance Technician C $39.38, Maintenance Technician B $41.30, Maintenance Technician A $44.78, Maintenance Technician A+ $48.92. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
