POSITION SUMMARY

As a Maintenance Technician, your role, in the bigger picture, is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. This position will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service and repair of production related equipment including extensive knowledge in the principles and practical application of pneumatics, hydraulics, chain/belt drives, bushings/bearings/idler systems, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fasteners, seals, gaskets, mechanical fabrication, and rigging. 
  • Knowledge and purpose of lubrication as well as identifying best types of lubrication for situation. 
  • Welding/Cutting: Knowledge and utilization of PPE and safety for tasks, techniques (stick/mig/tig), set up of equipment, basic gas cutting, proper grounding and equipment maintenance. 
  • Be able to troubleshoot and repair semi-complex mechanical machinery to include pumps, fans, meters, control valves, liquid and dry material conveyance, direct and indirect belt and chain driven systems, pneumatic systems etc. 
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus. 
  • Intermediate ability to fabricate mechanical systems. 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ALL SHIFTS INCLUDING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years’ of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree.

 

The approximate hourly pay range for this position is $39.38 - $48.92. The pay progression plan follows: $39.38 an hour for Maintenance Technician C, Maintenance Technician B $41.30, Maintenance Technician A $44.78, Maintenance Technician A+ $48.92. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
