ABOUT THE ROLE

Ready to grow beyond day-to-day maintenance? As a Maintenance & Improvement Engineer, you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and delivering engineering solutions that enhance factory performance. Working alongside experienced engineering and operations teams, you'll gain broad exposure to troubleshooting, equipment optimization, and improvement projects while building your technical and leadership capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive preventive and planned maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize equipment downtime and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor maintenance performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in reliability, productivity, safety, and cost improvement projects.
• Support maintenance planning, shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Support the performance and continuous improvement of electrical, automation, and manufacturing systems.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and support capability development of technicians and operators.
• Contribute to maintenance cost optimization and resource efficiency initiatives.
• Utilize data analytics and digital tools to identify improvement opportunities, optimize equipment performance, and support the factory's digitalization journey.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 4 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, electrical & automation, or engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of electrical, automation, control systems, and manufacturing equipment.
• Exposure to TPM, root cause analysis, commissioning, or maintenance planning is preferred.
• Experience leading a small team, maintenance technicians, or cross-functional improvement project will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data visualization or analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Excel dashboards) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC, automation systems, or manufacturing digital solutions will be an advantage.
• Good command of English.
