POSITION SNAPSHOT

  • Working location: Nestlé Binh An Factory (Amata IZ, Dong Nai)
  • Working time: Mon-Fri (08:00 – 17:15)
  • Reporting line: Maintenance & Improvement Manager

 

MAIN JOB PURPORSE

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Filling & Packing operations by leading maintenance, automation, and improvement initiatives. By combining engineering expertise, data-driven decision making, and a continuous improvement mindset, you will help reduce technical losses, improve equipment efficiency, and support the factory's digital transformation journey.

Most importantly, you will contribute to delivering safe, high-quality products while fostering sustainable and efficient manufacturing operations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Maintenance Excellence

  • Lead preventive and planned maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve asset performance.
  • Drive implementation of TPM/PM methodologies and coach teams on breakdown analysis and root cause problem solving.
  • Ensure maintenance resources are available and maintenance activities are executed safely and effectively.

 

Budget Management

  • Support annual maintenance budget planning and monitor spending against targets.
  • Analyze variances and implement corrective actions to optimize maintenance costs.

 

Capability Building

  • Develop technical capabilities through training, coaching, and competence development plans.
  • Support succession planning and strengthen maintenance expertise across the Engineering team.

 

Production & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Production to eliminate technical losses, quality defects, and safety risks.
  • Support AM pillar deployment and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

 

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with engineering, quality, safety, and operational standards.

 

Product & Process Mastery

  • Develop deep understanding of production processes and equipment to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics (preferred), Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

 

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Maintenance, Reliability, or Engineering roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in FMCG, food & beverage or other large scale industrial environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to Filling & Packing operations is an advantage.

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC/HMI, TPM, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience in digitalization, automation, or continuous improvement projects is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
