MAIN JOB PURPORSE

 

We are looking for a Factory Supply Chain Officer to manage material planning activities, ensuring uninterrupted supply to support production while maintaining optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency. This role works closely with Procurement, Production, QA, Engineering, and suppliers to drive effective material availability and supply chain performance.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Review material requirements based on production plans and rolling forecasts; create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely material availability.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly rolling forecasts for raw/ packaging materials, ensuring alignment with production and supply plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock coverage, and material supply risks to prevent production disruptions.
  • Work closely with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve supply issues, improve service performance, and communicate forecast requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure new materials, BOMs, product changes, and system updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor slow-moving and aging inventory, propose actions to minimize write-offs and optimize stock levels.
  • Investigate material quality issues and coordinate supplier claims for defective materials.
  • Perform SAP master data and planning health checks, ensuring planning parameters and purchasing data remain accurate.
  • Utilize SAP, Excel, Power BI and other digital tools to improve planning visibility, reporting efficiency, and supply chain decision-making.
  • Support digitalization and process improvement initiatives through automation, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze planning KPIs and identify opportunities to improve service level, inventory performance, and planning efficiency.
  • Participate in regular supply chain review meetings to monitor supply risks, inventory performance, forecast accuracy, and action plans.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization, alternative materials, backup suppliers, and supply continuity improvement projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, cost-saving projects, and productivity enhancement activities across the factory supply chain.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related disciplines.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Material Planning, Production Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Procurement Planning
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing/ FMCG or multinational manufacturing environment will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of material replenishment, inventory management, forecasting, and supply planning processes.
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing material supply risks.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and familiar with SAP/ ERP; experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or other data visualization/automation tools is an advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good command of English.
