Production Shift Supervisor

    

Location: Dong Nai, Vietnam

 

POSITION SNAPSHOT

 

  • Working location: Nestlé Dong Nai Factory (Bien Hoa 2 IZ, Dong Nai)
  • Working time: Rotating 3-shift model, 6 days/week
  • Reporting line: Production Manager

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Lead & Develop High Performing Teams

 

  • Manage and coach production operators and line leaders to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
  • Build team capability through training, coaching, and development plans.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven working culture.

 

  1. Drive Production Excellence
  • Ensure production plans are delivered safely, on time, in full, and within quality standards.
  • Monitor line performance, identify losses, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Lead shift operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives using TPM and Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE)   methodologies.

 

  1. Champion Safety & Quality

 

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with SHE policies and procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to GMP, hygiene, food safety, and quality requirements.
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions related to safety, quality, or process deviations.

 

  1. Collaborate Across Functions

 

  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, SHE, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the successful launch of new products and manufacturing improvements.
  • Contribute to factory digitalization, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering-related majors, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Food Technology, Chemical, Industrial Management or related technical disciplines
  • Ability to work in a rotating 3-shift schedule

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, dairy, or consumer goods industries.
  • Experience in leading frontline production teams or coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on exposure to continuous improvement programs such as TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.
  • Strong understanding of Safety, GMP, Quality Management Systems, and Hygiene standards.

 

Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems
