POSITION SNAPSHOT
•    Location: Nestlé Distribution Center, Long Binh DC, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Ensure outstanding delivery service at a minimum transportation cost whilst maximizing Sustainability, Safety and Security.

POSITION SUMMARY  
Set adequate target values for warehousing service and cost KPIs and continuously track KPIs to ensure they remain close to the target values by:
•    Agreeing on service requirements with businesses and finance and establishing the targets.
•    Setting targets for transport service and cost, and continuously tracking KPIs to ensure they remain close to the target values by:

• Implementing a structured, continuous improvement approach based on the application of tools and the implementation of best practices.
• Monitoring and managing safety, health and environment, quality, and CARE regulations and best practices.
• Driving cost-saving initiatives to improve performance and reduce costs in transportation.
• Adequately resolving any transport issues that arise.
• Ensuring that legal obligations are met or exceeded (transport regulations).
• Ensuring that documentation for deliveries is completed and returned on time.

•    Scheduling inbound and outbound flows and measuring attainment.
•    Influencing distribution management and customer service to continuously improve service and cost through:

• Regular communication
• Collaborating with customers and other functional departments (customer service, warehouse, factories) to ensure an adequate level of flexibility in structures and processes.

•    Ensuring the correct construction, control, and management of the budget for transport.
•    Organizing tenders with procurement and selecting the most suitable transport companies.
•    Negotiating contracts through procurement processes and establishing a sound relationship with service providers, including robust conflict management.
•    Support the selection of the right people, and ensure constant engagement, motivation, management, and close collaboration within the team.

REQUIREMENTS
•    A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant and successful operational experience in transportation at the market or business level.
•    Demonstrated operational expertise in areas such as Customer Service, Sales, Warehouse Management, Transport Management, and Finance (including Business Planning, Budget Control, and Cost Management).
•    Proven experience in managing projects related to:

• Distribution Network Redesign
• High-Performance Logistics
• Customer Logistics
• Distribution Costing and Finance
• Transportation Optimization (including Route Management, Track and Trace, and Vehicle Utilization)

•    Experience in leading teams effectively.
•    Involvement in strategic decision-making processes related to transportation
