China is now the second biggest market for Nestlé. The company has 33 production sites, three R&D and two innovation centers, a food safety institute, a dairy farming institute and one coffee center. Nestlé R&D in Beijing focuses on creating new food and beverage products primarily for Chinese consumers but also for those elsewhere in Asia. In close proximity to the Nestlé China Headquarters, it has state-of-the-art facilities that include rapid prototyping and packaging labs, as well as a consumer insight area. The center features over 40 R&D specialists working across multiple product categories, with expertise in sensory sciences, food technology and nutrition. They also collaborate with local universities and innovation partners. The site also houses the Nestlé Food Safety Institute in China.

•    Main Responsibilities:
o    To support on packaging NPD projects including packaging prototype development, industrial trial arrangement, packaging test and analysis, communication and collaboration with project teams on project activities.
o    To support on packaging sustainability research and development to drive packaging D4R for Nestle 2025 sustainability commitment.
o    To support on packaging lab management.
o    To support on FEI including packaging prototype preparation and participant ideation workshop.
•    Qualifications:
o    University students with 2nd year of bachelor completed, postgraduate preferred
o    Not graduated before internship ends date
o    Major preferred in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering.
o    Fluent in written and oral Chinese and English
o    Proficiently in Microsoft Office

o    Hsu Fu Chi General Factory 801, Zhouwu Industrial District, Dongcheng Dongguan, China

•    Other conditions:
o    Internship daily allowance RMB 120.
o    No housing supports in Beijing, but yes in Dongguan 
o    Target to start internship in 2023 for 6-11 months, starting date to be aligned.
