Position Summary

• Trainee/ Student Internship for 6 months
• Conduct sample making trials in kitchen and pilot plant to assist new product development
• Carry out laboratory trials and analysis
 

A day in the life of...

•    Laboratory trials and analysis required for product and process development: Particle size analysis, texture analysis, viscosity measurement, fat migration test… etc.
•    Samples making in kitchen and pilot plant: understanding recipes, organisation of ingredient, sample preparation (by hand and by machine), wrapping & labelling of samples.
•    Develop creative concepts
•    Record and analyse data from trials, summarize and report results
•    Organisation of ingredient and samples in lab and storage
•    Support shelf life validation of products
•    Support technical assistance to factories
•    Prepare documentation in both English and Chinese
 

What will make you successful

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in Biosciences or Engineering, preferably subject related to Food Sciences
- Fluent in English is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft words, excel and power point
- ≥4 days per week attendance
