Position Summary
Through Nesternship: Branch Out, the flagship internship program at Nestlé UAE Food Factories, you will gain hands-on exposure to a dynamic factory and warehouse environment while working alongside experienced professionals. This internship is designed to support your career development through real business exposure, structured functional learning, coaching, and practical project experience.
As a Warehouse Intern, you will support warehouse and logistics-related initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, strengthening process discipline, supporting safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement within the supply chain environment. You will have the opportunity to learn how warehouse operations connect with manufacturing, planning, quality, safety, and customer service to ensure products move efficiently and reliably through the value chain.
What You’ll Do
- Work with warehouse teams and cross-functional stakeholders to understand operational routines, systems, and performance indicators.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives related to warehouse efficiency, process standardization, safety, compliance, or sustainability.
- Analyze information, identify improvement opportunities, and support practical solutions that can create measurable value.
- Participate in functional learning, coaching, and regular check-ins with your assigned coach.
- Build your understanding of warehouse operations in a food manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and present your learning journey, project outcomes, recommendations, and key takeaways to the leadership team at the end of the internship.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a motivated and curious student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A degree or ongoing studies in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Interest in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or process improvement.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, and AI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to work on-site in a factory and warehouse environment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Hold a valid UAE residence visa and Emirates ID.
- Have valid personal medical insurance coverage throughout the internship period.
- Hold a valid UAE driver’s license.
- Be able to independently arrange transportation to and from Jebel Ali
- Be available to work on-site for the full internship duration.
