Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is part of the team that delivers the spaces and experiences which help our employees thrive. Facilities maintenance and engineering manages facility repair, construction and
design, and all building services. This role requires a professional who will be responsible for conducting
general maintenance and repairs on our campus equipment and property structures. This role will ensure the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems perform at optimum functionality to ensure an operational and comfortable working environment for our employees. The goal of this professional is to maintain the facilities and common areas in their best possible condition at all times. This role will also support by providing knowledge of our local systems to external subcontractors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
- Repair faulty equipment.
- Responsible for HVAC systems building automation controls to maintain climate control.
- Responsible for all lighting in buildings with replacements or repairs as needed.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and plumbing.
- Maintain good exterior condition of buildings and campus grounds.
- Maintain records and inventory for equipment and supplies for facilities.
- Maintain the campus shuttle fleet with fueling, oil changes, and basic safety operation partnering with service providers as needed.
- Perform workplace adjustments as needed, physical moves of furniture & equipment on campus.
- Respond and complete all building requests through our Archibus system in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all OSHA and Nestle safety standards while performing day to day activities.
- Support and assist with all local design and construction projects as needed.
- Availability of working weekends and or overtime as needed.
- Must maintain good housekeeping standards keeping work area's neat and orderly, and floors free of slip and trip hazards throughout campus at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Trade School Diploma or 1-2 years of experience in Maintenance, Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical preferred
- Team oriented and eager to learn new skills
- Self-driven with the ability to communicate well with others, orally and written
- Effective in brainstorming & problem solving
- Physically capable of climbing ladders
- Capable of Lifting heavy objects of 50lbs
Preferred qualifications:
- Microsoft Office – (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- CPR certified
- EPA certified
Preferred experience:
- Experience with scissor lifts, comfortable working at heights
