Salary from €35,250 - €46,500 depending on experience

Position Summary

We are delighted to be recruiting for this exciting National Account Executive position to join our Nestlé Ireland team based at our head office in Dublin.

 

As National Account Executive, you’ll play a key role within the Ireland Sales Team and will be responsible for working closely with the Coffee category team, Customer Business Managers and the Ireland customers to support delivery of our key customer, category and financial objectives including management and accountability of the customer / category / format P&L, including Sales Revenue, Trade Spend, Promotional ROI, Market Share and Profit targets.

 

The role will also have a key focus on supporting the execution of our Iced Coffee business plans in the Wholesale & Convenience channel, driving distribution and sales across the channel.

Your impact

In this exciting and fast paced role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and leading the negotiation of the annual Customer Business Plans which deliver against internal & external strategies & KPI.
  • Where relevant develop and continuously improve customer JBPs and investments plans with a pay for performance mind set.
  • Analysing of data sets (EPOS, IRI, Nielson, CIM, SRM) to build commercial plans which optimise KPI delivery.
  • Supporting NPD launches and identifying new business development opportunities across the channel to drive distribution, accelerate sales growth, and unlock incremental customer opportunities.
  • Executing successful brand sells with retailers to drive Nestlé Iced Coffee sales at key occasions in the channel
  • Leading best in class category strategies & activation on Iced Coffee. Shape best in class selling stories, in-store activation, and promotional performance.
  • Data analysis of Iced Coffee category, identifying opportunities within the Convenience channel and providing recommendations to the business teams.
  • Delivering winning shopper marketing plans to drive product ROS working with external shopper agencies and customer marketing teams to include the creation and delivery of Annual Shopper Marketing plan across Iced Coffee and channels to include our shopper presence online.
  • Supporting with the timely preparation & input into all relevant internal planning processes (weekly, monthly and quarterly). Utilising multiple data sets to create guidance to build understanding of external performance dynamics.

 

Your ingredients for success
To be successful in this role, you will have some fantastic commercial experience within the FMCG sector. You will work as part of a fast-moving team managing internal customer requests where accuracy and attention to detail are key to ensure a right first-time result.   You will be motivated to be part of a team, build great relationships within the team and with stakeholders, be open to how we can continuously improve as a team, and be the best.

 

You will also:

Essential skills:

  • Be proficient in Excel and comfortable using other Microsoft Office programs
  • Make good use of insightful information and be naturally analytical
  • Be comfortable when working collaboratively and cross functionally
  • Have strong and flexible communication skills and styles
  • Be organised and adept at planning and prioritising workloads
  • Show proactive attitude / is a self-starter
  • Naturally curious, it is crucial that you are able to take the initiative when faced with any obstacle to solve problems and overcome barriers

 

Desirable skills:

  • Previous Sales experience within the FMCG industry
  • Forecasting, sales and negotiation experiences would be beneficial
