POSITION SUMMARY

As a Packing Operator, you will be responsible for using good manufacturing practices to ensure the quality and quantity of sealed finished product pouches packed into cartons or club packs. You will operate packaging and ancillary equipment to product quality product. This position is an excellent step to growing your career with Nestlé Purina.

• Maintain a high level of understanding of best practices for packing finished product
• Insert pet food pouches into cartons
• Operate the control panel to match pouch flow to carton speed
• Perform quality checks and equipment changeovers as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Rotate between all packing and clean-up positions within department

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related fast paced environment

Other

• Must be open to working nights and weekends.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.18 an hour to start. The pay progression plan follows: Introductory Stage 1 $21.84, Introductory Stage 2 $24.02, Bid Operator rate $31.42 when fully qualified. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
