POSITION SUMMARY

 

As a Utility Operator, you will assist all areas of the plant with sanitation, promotional drops, case picking, inventory, forklift operation, and product handling. This role is an integral player of inventory control, quality and accuracy and will work closely with local quality assurance, warehouse, and inventory experts. Safety is our top priority and your work will ensure that our warehouse always remains a safe environment.

 

  • Meet Nestle Purina Petcare guidelines for safe forklift operation
  • Safely produce quality products at the right rate and right time
  • Safely meet Nestlé Purina Petcare engineered labor standards for warehouse operations
  • Monitor trailers holding levels, sanitation of trailer, and surrounding area
  • Empties cardboard recycle bins, safely operates bailer
  • Operates walkie, sweeper, and/or scrubber safely
  • Assist with plant sanitation, properly handling sanitizing agents. Includes sweeping, washing, emptying waste containers, shutdown, and clean up

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related fast paced environment

 

Other

  • Must be open to working nights and weekends.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.99 an hour to start. The pay progression plan follows: Introductory Stage 1 $22.71, Introductory Stage 2 $24.98, Bid Operator rate $32.68 when fully qualified. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
