Position Summary


The Learning & Development Supervisor will develop, implement, evaluate and manage the training strategy. This position will be responsible for structuring on-the-job and technical training, organizational development for supervisors and managers and focus on Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives. 
 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Responsible for ensuring strategic alignment across the plant for all necessary and required training needs related to technical and skills training, leadership development, compliance training, and policy/regulatory training.
  • Develop and organize a program of practical and technical instruction, design teaching outlines and determine instructional methods.
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods, including classroom instruction, eLearning, virtual training, and on the job coaching.
  • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps; organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs.
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and report on training outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain record keeping system that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance and evaluations.
  • Work with HR Manager and other department managers to plan and forecast training needs and manage budget for Training Department.
  • Provide direction to and partner with LMS Coordinator to further develop existing training programs.
  • Keep up to date on all training design and methodology best practices. 
     

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or in a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and executing technical and/or behavior training programs within a Manufacturing, Corporate, Industrial or Military environment. 
  • Fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook). 
  • Proven track record in learning delivery, project management, change management and training administration with the ability to influence and engage others.
  • Experience in instructional design, competency-based curriculum, setting up training curricula and the use of learning technologies.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, OJT or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.).
  • Must have excellent presentation, organizational and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical, conceptual thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Must have ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, especially within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work closely with Management to identify and deliver solutions to training needs. 
  • SAP experience preferred.
