Position Summary

The Stockroom Supervisor ensures uninterrupted manufacturing operations by leading the maintenance stockroom and managing the inventory, organization, and distribution of engineering spare parts and maintenance supplies. Through effective SAP inventory management and stock availability, this role minimizes equipment downtime, supports production reliability, and helps maintain food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards. This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, based at our Eau Claire manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP master data for maintenance materials, BOMs, and storage locations to ensure inventory accuracy and reliability
• Execute daily MRP activities, analyze inventory requirements, and coordinate procurement of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies
• Monitor inventory levels, KPIs, budget performance, and supplier activity to support parts availability, cost control, and continuous improvement
• Optimize inventory strategies by maintaining reorder points, safety stock levels, maximum stock thresholds, and conducting annual inventory reviews
• Coordinate kitting activities by preparing parts and materials for planned preventive maintenance work
• Partner with suppliers to manage order fulfillment, expedite critical shipments, and resolve discrepancies
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials to ensure compliance with purchase orders, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom environment using 5S principles to support safe and timely parts retrieval
• Lead cycle count programs and annual physical inventories, investigating and resolving inventory variances
• Supervise, coach, and develop stockroom team members while managing work schedules and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including proper storage and handling of maintenance materials and lubricants
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, service levels, and cost performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education or equivalent relevant experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of experience leading a technical stores, maintenance stockroom, or spare parts inventory operation, including direct supervision of employees
• Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer, or similar technical role
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, preferably within food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods environments
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SAP, including Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) modules
• Experience managing spare parts inventory, inventory control, materials planning, purchasing, and stockroom operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot
• Ability to interpret inventory and maintenance data to support operational decision-making
• Working knowledge of liquid processing and packaging equipment, including pumps, valves, stainless steel piping, and food-grade components
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and quality compliance requirements

Salary: $55,440.90 to $80,545.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
