POSITION SUMMARY
As the Accounting Analyst (Plant Accountant), you will act as the subject matter expert in managing Fixed Assets, Maintenance and Capital Spend. You will work independently with Engineering, Maintenance and Accounting teams within the factory to support the execution of maintenance cost control and managing Capital & fixed assets. You will meet all safety, health, quality, and environmental requirements when performing job duties.
- Works independently managing the Fixed Asset program including but not limited to the timely closing of capital projects, leads the fixed asset inventory audits, compliance of competitive bid policy, FLOC management, capital work orders and associated cost reporting.
- Influence others within the Maintenance/Storeroom department. Include training of maintenance employees on proper accounting standards including Capital Vs Expense, Relocation of equipment, Retirement and scrapping policies, and depreciation guidelines. Actively participates in Maintenance Planning and Engineering Meetings providing standard guidance when needed.
- Understand the Business Environment by working cross functionally with the Maintenance and Engineering departments, by performing work order settlements, assisting in the monthly accrual process, forecasting and budgeting of maintenance, depreciation and provisional adjustment expenses.
- Monitor American Express program to ensure compliance to spend authority, taxable/non-taxable spend and spending limit reviews.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years’ accounting experience in manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

- BA or BS in Accounting preferred.
The approximate range for this position is $58,000 - $80,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
