POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY
As an Assistant Manager, Maintenance, you will be developed to take on all aspects of a factory Maintenance Manager role. You will be a factory leader who manages and develops team members, provides technical assistance and administer maintenance functions for operations and strives for continuous improvement in safety and efficiency. This role will give you the challenges, training and leadership experience needed to grow your long-term career with Nestle Purina Pet Care.
- Learn and report on how planning and scheduling is utilized to handle the daily and long term needs of the Plant Operations along with building out 5 years maintenance plans.
- Show ability to administer the maintenance function of plant facilities and equipment with shared responsibility among Operating Department Managers for specific daily maintenance in their respective areas.
- Report on existing direction for maintenance training efforts for all Department members and monitor activities to ensure the advancement of individuals is consistent with Department team goals.
- Provide the leadership, support, and training necessary for the development of each team member as a valued and critical resource.
- Coordinate staffing requirements within the Department consistent with plant objectives and monitor and promote activities that will prove effective for improving maintenance on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and Manage Maintenance EXO projects and budgets
- Show the ability to understand the technical storeroom Policies and inventory Management.
- Direct People leadership of Maintenance Salaried and hourly Employees
- Report out on Maintenance budgets, EXO spend, and Waterfall budgeting for the following year.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, engineering, technical, industrial, military, or related environment
- AND 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Must be open to relocation to one or more of our 22 facilities across the U.S.
The approximate pay range for this position is $84,000 to $104,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
