Position Summary

 

As an Electromechanical Specialist, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment with a focus on electrical and automation systems. Occasional tasks could involve infrastructure/building & grounds work. You will work with production and maintenance personnel to solve problems and implement solutions quickly in order to keep factory assets operating efficiently.

• Remain proficient with the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial electrical control systems, electromechanical systems, and fluid power.
• Understand how automated equipment and its components work; utilize knowledge of PLC programming to troubleshoot production equipment without modifying programing.
• Properly use mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Work independently and collaboratively to maintain equipment and solve technical problems.
• Operate forklift to move equipment or parts as needed.
• Remain proficient at utilizing computerized maintenance management systems and other digital tools.
• Utilize basic rigging, mechanical practices, pipefitting, and welding skills in an industrial environment.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed.
• Perform all tasks with safety and food safety best practices.
• Utilize knowledge and skills to train other employees.


Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent with 3+ years’ industrial electrical/mechanical experience that includes knowledge in PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, ladder logic, motors, and electrical maintenance, etc. in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

OR

• Associate degree with 1+ year of relevant industrial electrical experience
