POSITION SUMMARY

 

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which will include facilities, packing, processing, and batching/unloading/slurry (BUS). You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.

 

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment that you have been assigned responsibility for by using the following criteria:
    • All repairs must be done safely and in a craftsman-like manner.
    • Look for continuous improvement, ideas to improve safety, reliability, quality, throughput, and energy.
    • Keep your work areas at tour-ready sanitation levels and prevent product safety issues.
    • All work sites must be kept clear and free of debris.
    • Work with Engineers on capital upgrades in your area as needed with either actual installation assistance or as an advisor/Team Leader.
  • Complete any other assigned maintenance duties as directed by Team Leader including the following:
    • Electrical/Mechanical work for other plant areas.
    • Attend job-related training (new equipment, safety, new policies, etc.)
    • Machine Shop work
    • Housekeeping of shop area’s equipment
    • Maintenance Progression Plan
    • Follow all plant safety rules and work rules.

 

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree

 

The hourly pay for this position is $30.00 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
