Position Summary:
This Analyst role in Customer Memberships supports the Medical Nutrition business by 

  • Collaborating with Finance and Chargebacks to ensure proper linking of customers with purchases not yet linked to a contract in our system.
  • Evaluating customer eligibility to access contracts and GPO tiers, and determining the need for contract linking modifications.
  • Communicating customers’ contract eligibility with distributor partners.

 

This will be accomplished by acquiring and analyzing large customer data sets, cross-functional problem solving and applying a high level of attention to detail.  The Customer Memberships Analyst acts a change agent with a focus on improving Customer Memberships and organizational processes. Success in this role requires robust collaboration with internal business partners such as National Accounts, Distribution, Sales, Data Management, Chargebacks & Finance, and Sales Support.      

 

Location: This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.  
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate customer eligibility for contracts and determine contract linking modifications accordingly  
• Working in close collaboration with Chargebacks team to assure correct contracts are used for chargeback purposes
• Authorizes customers for contracts for distributor chargebacks
• Informs distributors of customer contract eligibility
• Addresses distributor inquiries about customer contract eligibility 
• Assures customers are accurately linked to appropriate contracts using various sources of data such as reports, spreadsheets, linking forms, memberships list, etc. Utilizes SAP, Vistex and BI Launch Pad for linking processes 
• Updates Vistex for accurate customer linking of key contract attributes
• Analyze large amounts of raw data (ie., customer spreadsheets and rosters) for contract linking/unlinking/relinking. Seeks additional data points as needed to resolve linking issues. 
• Resolves difficult problems through prioritization, internal and external collaboration
• Offers additional perspective to internal processes and projects based on experience and knowledge
• Assures departmental and/or cross-functional collaboration on processes that improve membership function efficiencies. 
• Uses knowledge of departmental and business objectives, strategies, and needs to identify opportunities that can help achieve desired results. 
• Collaborates within own team to assure process change buy in and awareness
• Guides Sales Team members on Operations procedures and processes
• Recommends enhancements to job area processes to resolve issues and improve effectiveness. Through various reports and routine requests, monitors, researches and detects patterns of errant linking. Implements strategies to reduce future risk
• Draws on prior experience, analysis skills and knowledge of other parts of the organization to solve problems
• When faced with difficult problems, proactively resolves through prioritization, internal and external collaboration
• Identifies gaps in data needs and connects with National Accounts and Sales teams to close gaps to assure accurate linking 
• Communicates with sales teams on linking status
• Assists internal team on special projects 
• Trains and guides new Customer Memberships employees. 
• Supports work of other team members when on leave/PTO, etc. as needed

 

Experience and Education Requirements:
• University Degree (BA/BS)
• Related work experience
• Works effectively in a diverse, cross-functional environment
• Proactively drives process improvement
• Works independently, with little to no direction 
• Highly detail oriented 
• Self-motivated, works quickly and efficiently on multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

 

Preferred Skills: 
• Experience in Corporate Operations 
• Experience in Healthcare / Pharmaceuticals 
• Working knowledge of Vistex, SAP, GDSN, BW Reporting, EDI, CRM 
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Power Point

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
