Position Summary
This role contributes to the success of the organization by focusing on major strategic initiatives for the NHSc businesses and programs (projects) requiring executive-level management including but not limited to Due Diligence, Post-Acquisition Integration, Business Development Initiatives and Strategic Planning. As part of the NHSc US transformation team, the Director, Transformation & Business Operations also plays an important cross-functional coordination role at the VP, Transformation’s direction.
RESPONSIBITLITES
- Support the VP, Transformation and leaders in the development and articulation of the US organization’s strategy & plan including transformation & integration
- Serve as integration liaison with global NHSc BD&L team supporting execution on M&A and business development decisions
- Recommend and onboard resources required to execute transformation and integration plans
- Align key stakeholders to integration strategy and plan
- Business case development for new growth initiatives and implementing processes that improve organizational and financial effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage
- Prospect, explore, and develop external relationships as assigned
- Commercial lead for major investment initiatives and RFPs as assigned
- Conduct regular analysis of industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and portfolio performance
- Support coordination of annual strategic planning process with senior management team including market business strategy (MBS), quarterly business reviews (QBR), monthly business reviews
REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree with focus on business administration / strategy or other relevant field
- 10+ years experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business strategy, M&A or post-merger integration roles with increasing responsibility
- Large consulting experience highly preferred
- Experience managing cross-functional business activities in international and matrix environments
- Ability to understand businesses and teams holistically and take a multi-faceted approach to delivering successful outcomes for complex integration projects
- 25% or more travel to develop internal and external relationships
