Main Purpose of Job
DEVELOPMENT AND ACTIVATION OF THE CATEGORY TEAM’S ADVANCED CAPABILITIES MODULAR TECHNOLOGY AND AUTOMATION PLAN – a primary responsibility of this position is to lead standardized technical processes and management of the data architecture for the modular data, along with development and maintenance of modular technology for the automation of relays. Additionally, this position will lead the team in utilization and leveraging of technology that will enable efficient modular processes and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Sr. Category Analyst – Advanced Capabilities assists the Category Manager in developing and executing the transition and revision process
- Collaborate with the team and the customer to create Strategic Category plans by leveraging analytics, insights, and technology to identify actionable customer-specific insights to drive the transition/revision strategy.
- Leadership of all POG Technology and Automation for transitions and revisions
- Assortment optimization modeling tool development, automation, maintenance and category team enablement
- Create, analyze and provide insights for customer weekly POS performance, transition/revision pre- vs post-performance, Test and Learn insights, and other similar customer data derived insights, as well as being knowledgeable on the category’s business intelligence reporting portfolio for ad hoc requests.
- CKB functionality, development and enhancements
- Manages accessibility, functionality, and extracts from transition/revision technology.
- Ownership of transition/revision technology development, enhancements and support of the category team
- ProSpace functionality, user setup, user training, and advanced capabilities resource for the category team
- Collaborates with Advisor Technologies team on data and data streams from and to transition/revisions related technologies
Key Experiences
- Professional experience supporting retailer Advisor or Captaincy planogram process is required, Target captaincy experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with ProSpace is required; CKB, Planogram Automation is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related major preferred
- Expectation is to create business continuity related to POG technology and automation processes
- Strong technical skills in the areas of POG related programming, POG database architecture, POG process automation
- Advanced database, Excel, and related skills
- Understanding how to leverage ProSpace and related tools like SQL and CKB to enable automation and team efficiency
- Ability to unlock the power of technology to enable and elevate the team and create consistent, efficient modular and data related processes

Salary: $90,418.54 to $128,016.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
