POSITION SUMMARY
As a Production Supervisor, your role in the bigger picture is to lead and facilitate your team to achieve all goals related to safety, quality, sanitation, performance and cost, while maintaining positive employee relations and morale. You will be a change agent in your area, nurturing improvements to make the Eden factory better than ever. This role empowers the production team to seek new initiatives as well as ensure safe behaviors, all while maintaining excellences in quality and food safety. This vital role will lead your team in continuous improvement through our Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) tools to improve asset intensity and minimize costs. This position provides exciting professional development for those ambitious to make a difference.
*Must be open to working night shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am), day shift (6:00 am - 6:00 pm) and weekends*
- Lead and coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the factory’s continuous improvement plan
- Ensure that your team is consistently meeting or exceeding set standards in the areas of quality, sanitation, cleaning, lubrication and inspections
- Lead and support Total Performance Management and Nestle Continuous Excellence initiatives
- Participate and lead operational reviews and general meetings
- Facilitate disciplinary procedures and grievances with employees
- Train, coach and develop hourly production employees including management of timecards, vacation schedules and production reports
- Coordinate daily shift activities to meet key objectives
- Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within “Good Manufacturing Practices”
- Manage the production schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs, including active participation in problem-solving to achieve these results
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
- 2+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
Other
- 2-year technical or associate degree
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Microsoft Suite experience
The approximate range for this position is $63,000 - $92,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
