Position Summary

As the Senior Engineer (Dryer Expert), you will be the subject matter expert on the drying process and all equipment related to the process including gas train systems, safeties, PLC controls, motors, drives, sensors, fans, and mechanical and pneumatic conveyance. You will troubleshoot equipment and maintain basic condition standards and processes in a factory environment. You will also train and develop the Factory Maintenance and Operations Teams.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage major breakdown resolution by developing maintenance technicians to troubleshoot drying systems using knowledge of drying process equipment and maintenance techniques.
  • Install and maintain both vertical and horizontal drying systems in a factory environment.
  • Work closely Engineering, supporting design and specification of process drying OEM equipment.
  • Manage preventative maintenance program (routine and extraordinary), developing standards on the preventive or corrective maintenance on the components.
  • Manage OEM partnerships (issues, continuous improvement, scorecard, technical support).


Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience working with process dryers (Beuhler/Aeroglide/Proctor) and/or related horizontal and vertical drying equipment
